"Epic Tucson" Video
with Jerry as Location Producer
The epicPLANET.tv crew hit the road in April to bring you another exotic location for an upcoming epicRIDES — Tucson, Arizona!
Only 60 miles from the Mexican border and in the heart of the beautiful Sonoran desert, Tucson is a mecca for cyclists all over the world. The region has it all: lush desert, rolling terrain and big, we mean BIG, climbs.
Our Location Producer for this production is Tucson-based author, photographer and cyclist, Jerry Rosen. Jerry literally wrote the book on cycling routes in the Tucson area — DESERT JOURNEYS; A Guide for the Tucson Road Cyclist — and contributed the great cycling photo you see with this article!
For accomodations, our crew stayed at the beautiful Lodge on the Desert, located in the heart of Tucson.
epicPLANET.tv is also working with some of the region's leading cycling clubs, shops and cyclists to bring Virtual Riders like you another amazing epicRIDES DVD!

Check out PowerProfiles:
a unique new add-on for epicRIDES Virtual Cycling DVDs
epicPLANET.tv has released PowerProfiles, a line of downloadable time-based workout files that are compatible with programmable indoor trainers. This first PowerProfiles release is for the CycleOps PowerBeam Pro and 400 Pro Indoor Cycle, with more trainer brands to come over the next weeks.
PowerProfiles allow cyclists training indoors to feel the actual road and grade resistance in synchronization with the playing of an epicRIDES virtual cycling DVD or Digital Download. “This opens an added dimension for indoor training, because cyclists training indoors will now be able to take one of our virtual rides and actually feel the resistance of the terrain they are seeing on the screen,” says epicRIDES creator, Allen Jones.
PowerProfiles can be downloaded FREE during the introduction phase of this product at the epicPLANET.tv web site. Once they go on sale, 50% of sales will be donated to cycling related charities.
